Getting involved in on-campus and off-campus community service projects has been a tradition at Oklahoma State since 1984 with the establishment of the Volunteer Center. Located in 030E Student Union, the Volunteer Center's goal is to introduce volunteerism as a way to bring together different groups of people on campus and within the Stillwater community. Since the Volunteer Center's founding, thousands of civic-minded students, staff and faculty have taken the first step in solving problems by offering their talents through active engagement with community non-profit agencies, public schools and medical service organizations.
